/ Writer / Mixer / Remixer / Programmer
At seventeen Andy produced his first track, set up his first label and released over 50 records, and remixed five Top 10 UK releases. He and Nic Fancuilli then formed Skylark and remixed tracks for Kylie, Michael Grey, Tears for Fears and Deep Dish, and - under their other pseudonym of The Buick Project - remixed Underworld, Tiefschwartz, Unkle and Tracy Thorne to name but a few. Their Tracey Thorne remix was nominated at the 2007 Grammy Awards.
Whist producing and mixing 'Hot Stuff' for the Pussy Cat Dolls' debut multi million selling album, he was asked to rework Blondie's 'Heart Of Glass' and Edison was born. Further remixes by Andy as Edison include Muse, Nelly Furtado, Nerina Pallot, Justice vs. Simian and Peter, Bjorn & John.
In 2006 Andy launched liveroom.tv, streaming live performances online. He has recorded over 100 bands for liveroom.tv in the past 18 months, including The Magic Numbers, Scouting For Girls, Operahouse, Siobhan Donaghy, Lightspeed Champion and Pete and The Pirates.
As a BMG/Universal writer, he currently has tracks in production co-written with Shep Soloman, Hannah Robinson, Paul Harris, Stella Attar, Vince Degiorgio and Alex James as well as tracks for TV and film.
In 2007 Andy was asked by Kanye West to add synths & keyboards to his multi million selling album Graduation. Andy featured on numerous tracks, most notably the number 1 single Stronger.
Andy Chatterley is the complete package: multi-instrumentalist, composer, programmer, recording engineer, mixer and producer, as much at home recording lo-fi indie as producing hi-fi pop, or programming beats for the hip-hop elite. He is proud to be joining Stephen Budd Management alongside a host of world class producers.
