Carsten Kroeyer :: Biography
Carsten is a brilliant young Danish writer/producer whom, after three album releases (2 pop acts on BMG, and one solo Big Beat project on Mega Scandinavia), moved to his new base, London, in 2001.
He specialises in imparting a unique modern-electronica vibe to his songs and productions and is one of the best and most original new talents around. Carsten has rapidly established himself as a cutting edge songwriter and has written and produced tracks for Melanie C, Lucie Silvas (Serious / Mercury), Sunscreem, Denise Van Outen, the Appleton album (Polydor), & Victoria Beckham (Telstar).
Carsten has also been writing with Faye Tozer (ex-Steps), Celena Cherry (former lead singer of The Honeyz) and Alison Limerick. He also remixed Erasure's "Oh L'Amour" for the DVD single / video release.
Carsten has spent the last year writing and producing his own project, BD-ProjX, a fusion of funky hip-hop blended with commercial rock & pop overtones and features guest vocalists such as Alison Limerick, Celena Cherry, Lucie Silvas, Seyi & Flo.
