Greg Haver is an award-winning producer with a background in engineering, programming and drumming. He built his impressive reputation within the Welsh music community and is renowned for his diverse production skills and innovative arrangements with artists including the Manic Street Preachers, Melanie C, INME, Opshop, Codes, Wilder, Catatonia, Super Furry Animals, Lost Prophets and Bullet For My Valentine.

Greg has had a long-standing working relationship with the Manic Street Preachers, producing their "Lifeblood" album, which included the hit singles "The Love of Richard Nixon" and "Empty Souls". He also produced and co-produced tracks from their "Know Your Enemy" and "Send Away The Tigers" albums as well as working on earlier top-ten records for the band including, "There by the Grace of God" and "You Stole the Sun From My Heart" and was chosen as the band's percussionist on their 2002/3 "Greatest Hits" tour. He has also produced songs for both James Dean Bradfields "The Great Western" and Nicky Wires "I Killed the Zeitgeist" solo albums.

In 2004, Greg produced the "Beautiful Intentions" album for Melanie C, which included the top-ten UK single "Next Best Superstar" reaching gold status in Germany, Switzerland and Austria and also double platinum status in Portugal spending 9 weeks at number one.

He's also produced several top 40 singles for INME, including "Faster the Chase" and "So You Know" along with additional production on the "White Butterfly" album. He also remixed The Cosmic Rough Riders hit "The Pain Inside".

Greg recorded tracks for the Catatonia multi platinum "International Velvet" album and with Super Furry Animals on the "Outspaced" and "Mwng" albums, including the single "Ysbeidiau Heulog".

In recent years Greg has recorded many records overseas including extensive work in New Zealand, producing major artists such as Opshop's triple platinum, multi-award winning album "Second Hand Planet" and their latest album "Until The End of Time", The Feelers' triple platinum "Playground Battle" and "Greatest Hits" albums, Jonny Love's self-titled debut and latest albums, The Earlybirds debut "Favourite Fears", Jonny Loves debut and recent albums, Carly Binding's "So Radiate" and "The Mad Love" by 48 May.


He has also produced tracks for Nathan King, Over the Atlantic, Annabel Fay, Pluto, Goodnight Nurse, Goldenhorse, Black River Drive, Supermodel, Tourist, The Checks, The Braxton Hicks and The Rabble.

His overseas work also includes the Codes award winning "Trees Dream In Algebra", the Dirty 9's "Stop Screaming Start Dreaming" and the Hogan "Boom" albums in Ireland, the GEM album "New" and the So What Album "Tiptoes" in Holland, plus the "Super Constellation" and "This Good Life" albums for Marvin in Switzerland. Matt Springfield for AKA Music in Belgium. In Eastern Europe he produced the MTV Europe nominated "For the Sleepy People" album with Tribes of the City, Tanel Pandar and the Suns "Here Comes The Sun" album Azerbaijan's Elnir and Samir and the self titled debut album for Moscows Dairy High.

He recorded and mixed the soundtrack for the 2001 Marc Evans BAFTA winning film "Beautiful Mistake" with the Velvet Underground's John Cale. He has produced music for several plays by poet Patrick Jones with James Dean Bradfield along with Patrick's album "Commemoration and Amnesia". He produced and co-wrote the song "The Ten Commandments of Bart" from the Simpsons' "Yellow" album with Simpsons' creator Matt Groening. He has also written music for several TV programmes and commercials.

Greg has produced and recorded songs for many and varied artists over several genres, including: Bullet For My Valentine, Lost Prophets, Skindread, People In Planes, Midasuno, Wilder, States of Emotion, James Leighton, The Fanclub, Seven Days, Dopamine, 60ft Dolls, Stuart Cables Killing for Company, The Afternoons, Puscha, Big Leaves, Richard Parfitt, Sal, Salvage, Big Linda, The Hot Puppies, Breed 77, Kicks, Kennedy Soundtrack, Tetra Splendour, Gorkys Zygotic Mynci, Zabrinski, Topper, The Last Grand, Cape Fear, Hayley Cowan, Studio Arcade, Edgar Prais, Texas Radio Band, El Goodo, MC Mabon, Amy Wadge, Chris Townsend, Derrero, Science Vs Romance, Budapest, The Relatives, Salvage, Bluesky Research, A Silent Film, Little Fish, Mclusky, Another Story, Buffalo 77, Zwatec, The Martini Henry Rifles, Aynsley Lister, Leave The Capital and Tommy and the Chauffeur.

A talented and respected drummer, Greg has played on the Tom Jones multi platinum "Reload" album and has worked as a musician for Roger Daltrey, Daryl Hall, Corey Hart, Helen Terry, Nightcrawlers and Waterfront. He also spent several years as a songwriter for EMI Music Publishing and London Music and set up the Big Noise and Boobytrap record labels, the latter with funding from Sony UK.

Greg is a sought-after speaker who has appeared at The British Music Experience, The Dublin Music Show, by:Larm in Norway, the Resonate Seminar and SAE in Auckland, the Baltic Music Conference in Riga, Brighton's The Great Escape and Manchester's In The City. He has also given seminars for WMF, JAMES and Music Producers Guild in the UK. He is a music advisor to the Arts Council of Wales and has won several Best Producer Welsh Music Awards and the coveted Contribution to the Music Industry at the Pop Factory Awards.
