James Lewis
Producer / Mixer / Engineer
James's ongoing progression as a producer, mixer, engineer & writer has reaped rewards with a succession of great records over the last year or two. Following work with The Wombats and The Pistolas (he was credited as 'reinventing The Pistolas as dancefloor-baiting art-rock heros') James mixed tracks for Cajun Dance Party (championed by Jo Whiley / NME single of the week). He recently produced tracks for hotly tipped act Surfbeat and is currently working with Lucy Rose (managed by Razorlight's manager) and The Dykeenies (managed by Twenty First Artists).
As well as working with the latest up and coming bands and artists James has also worked on film soundtracks; producing, engineering and mixing 'Ride The Storm' by Simon Webbe, the main title track Hollywood blockbuster 'Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer'.
Previous productions include debut singles for 'The On Offs' & 'Dirty Little Faces', thrusting both bands straight to Radio 1 airplay.
