A recording and mixing engineer based out of NYC, Jason is a seven-time Grammy nominee and, happily, a one-time winner.
Jason started his career in the music biz as a DJ in the clubs of Washington DC, spinning what is now considered "Old School" hip-hip, R&B, House, and New Wave. Looking for a change of pace, he moved to LA where he landed a job at the legendary Ocean Way Recording Studios. While there, he worked with, and learned from such world renowned producers and engineers as Phil Ramone, Hans Zimmer, Don Was, Arif Mardin (R.I.P.), Glyn Johns, George Massenburg and Jack Joseph Puig.
In the last few years he has engineered and mixed records for artists such as Beyonce, Jay-Z, The Roots, Ludacris, Jill Scott, R. Kelly, Michael Jackson, Kelly Rowland, Nas, Jennifer Lopez, and Mary J. Blige.
In 2006 he was awarded a Grammy for mixing Beyonce's sophomore release "B'Day" which contained the #1 single "Irreplaceable." Due to the diverse nature of the projects that he has worked on, Jason is comfortable engineering and/or mixing anything from rock, to pop, to R&B, to 100 piece orchestras.
With over 15 years of hit-record making experience Jason is able to give his clients exactly the sound they are looking for, be it old school, new school, radio or club.
