London based producer, writer, remixer, engineer and all round studio talent, Martijn ten Velden has had a string of dance hits throughout his career. Having teamed up with partner David James at the end of 90's, they remixed the likes of Ms Dynamite, DB Boulevard, Eddie Grant, the Sugababes and found themselves at number 1 in the Hype Chart with the Audio Drive remix of Prophets of Sound. They also co-produced (with Grammy Award winner Rick Nowels) a track for Kylie called "Whenever you feel like it"' which was an exclusive on the Scooby Doo Original Soundtrack CD and found its way onto her Fever remixed album.
Never one to stand still, Martijn also works with Mark Knight and their first production, 'Our House EP' was released on DTPM, reached number 6 in the BuzzChart, number 8 in the HypeChart and had massive radio support from Pete Tong. It was only natural that with this success and demand, the boys would be remixing and theyıve now built up a string of high profile remixes : Soul Central (Defected Records) Brad Carter (EMI / Positiva), Portobella (Island), Natasha Beddingfiled (BMG) - all of which have kept Martijn well & truly in the dance charts and on dancefloors around the world.
