Rick Nowels is a Grammy and Ivor award winning songwriter / producer who has worked with many of the most vibrant artists in contemporary music. He is a multi-instrumentalist who incorporates contemporary sounds and rhythms into classic songwriting. Working with some of the most innovative programmers and musicians, he has had numerous hit records with Madonna, Dido, Nelly Furtado, New Radicals, Texas, Ronan Keating, Melanie C, Jewel, 2Pac, Sonique and Santana.

Rick recently produced Yusuf Islam's 'An Other Cup' album – the acclaimed comeback album for Cat Stevens, he co-wrote Nelly Furtado's single 'In God's Hands' and songs on her multi-platinum 'Loose' album, he co-wrote ‘Green Light’ the first single from Legend’s new album featuring Andre 3000, he co-wrote Daniel Powter’s new single ‘Next Plane Home’ and Sia’s new single ‘We’ll Be Found’.

In the recent past Rick co-wrote several tracks for the Dido album 'Life For Rent' including the world-wide smashes 'White Flag' (ASCAP Song of the Year, Ivor Novello award) and “Sand In My Shoes’. He co-wrote 2Pac’s posthumous hit 'Loyal To The Game' and wrote and produced the Santana hit 'Game Of Love' (ASCAP Song of the Year, Grammy Award) and co-wrote Jewel's massive US hit 'Standing Still'. Prior to this Rick produced Dido's 'Here With Me' and 'Hunter' singles from her 15,000,000 selling 'No Angel' album; he co-wrote three songs with Madonna on her seminal 'Ray Of Light' album, including 'Power of Goodbye' and wrote and produced the Melanie C single 'I Turn To You'. He wrote Texas's hit single 'Inner Smile'; wrote and produced the Ronan Keating singles 'Life Is A Rollercoaster' and 'Loving Each Day' and hits with Belinda Carlisle, KD Lang, Amber, Craig David, Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac amongst many others.
