Rik Simpson is a recording producer/engineer/writer/musician & programmer who lives in London.

Rik has worked intensively for the last 16 years in the music industry, starting out making tea in 1989 at the now non-existent Swanyard Studios and he currently freelances with his own production company, Criptic Music Ltd at numerous studios around the capital (& Europe).

His music roots lie in an eclectic mix of both band-based and electronic styles, having worked on hundreds of successful records of diverse styles be they rock, pop, alternative or dance.

Ultimately Rik's mission is to blend the analogue with the digital, the human with the machine in order to create something new and exciting in music.

Rik is currently in the studio with Coldplay working on their new album.
