Steve started his career in the late eighties as an engineer under Rolling Stones / The Who producer Glyn Johns and then graduated to producer status with Depeche Mode on the 'Songs Of Faith & Devotion - Live' album. He built a reputation at a young age for working with highly creative artists and gaining their respect.
Steve has produced the first album for Amplifier, one of Britain's most promising young rock acts. The self titled debut from the Manchester based trio has received amazing reviews across the music press including 5Ks in Kerrang and 9/10 in Metal Hammer. According to NME "No other record this year will have the audacity to field such lofty ambitions, let alone have the skills to fulfil them".
He has also produced their second album, due to complexion early in 2006.
Steve also produced an album for Reamonn, Layla Manoocherhi, Lilly Fraser, Polo Northe, Claire Toomey, Mr. North and Eliza (singer from Bellatrix) and has mixed a No.1 album in Italy for electronic pop outfit Subsonica.
