Kipper Eldridge

Biography

Kipper stands out as a highly accomplished producer, musician, writer, and programmer, recognized for his collaborations with an extensive array of artists, including Sting, Mary J Blige, James Morrison, Richard Marx, Stevie Wonder, Clay Aiken, Shawn Colvin, Gary Numan, and Connie Talbot. His produced albums boast a remarkable sales record, surpassing 14 million copies, and have garnered prestigious accolades such as Grammy and Emmy awards.

The journey began with Kipper co-founding the band One Nation, which secured a deal with IRS/MCA. After producing two albums and embarking on extensive tours, Kipper shifted his focus to production and writing for solo artists. His work extended to collaborations with Gary Numan, Catherine Zeta Jones, Curtis Stigers, and legendary film composer Trevor Jones on numerous Hollywood Film Underscores.

Notably, Kipper served as Sting’s MD/Keyboard player for five years, contributing significantly to Sting’s best-selling solo album, “Brand New Day,” which earned him a Grammy for Best Pop Album. He continued his success with two follow-up albums, “All This Time” and “Sacred Love,” clinching a second Grammy for Best Duet with Mary J Blige on the song “Whenever I Say Your Name.”

Operating from his own mix room on the picturesque island of Bali, Kipper engages in both remote collaborations and hosts international artists for recording. He has also forged a partnership with Labyrinth Studios Nyenyi, providing access to a world-class recording and mix facility in Asia.

Despite his deep connection to Bali, Kipper’s love for London’s vibrant energy, artists, and studios compels him to frequently traverse to the UK, where he continues to work with clients in Europe.
