Biography
Dan Myers is a North London–based songwriter, producer and mixer whose creative path has been shaped by early immersion in studio culture. Exposure to leading artists and producers at a formative stage helped define his musical perspective, sparking a lasting drive to create records that balance emotional depth with contemporary commercial appeal.
Across his career, Dan has collaborated with artists including Tom Grennan, Jamie Grey, Emily Burns, Taylor Lally, Mac Adams, Lily Ward, Lusaint, Billy Lockett, and Barney Fletcher, alongside work for Fifteen04, YMU, and Autonomy Music Group. His output reflects a consistent focus on songwriting integrity, sonic detail, and artist development across both independent and industry-facing projects.
Classically trained in piano and guitar at the Royal College of Music, Dan’s technical foundation underpins his intuitive approach to production and writing. He went on to establish Promenade Studios in North London, a dedicated creative space designed to support and nurture emerging talent.
Building on this, he launched Neptune Records, a platform focused on developing and releasing new artists with a steady flow of upcoming projects. His sound sits at the intersection of pop and alternative music, shaped by a sensitivity to artist identity while maintaining strong commercial awareness. Influences include writer-producers such as Mark Ronson, Daniel Nigro, Tobias Jesso Jr., Jack Antonoff, and Mike Sabath.
More recently, Dan has signed with Wixen Publishing and continues to work from his North London studio, as well as at major facilities including Metropolis Studios and writing camps such as Riot Noise and others. With a growing slate of forthcoming releases through 2026 and ongoing discussions with Warner Chappell Music around material earmarked for major artists, he continues to expand his presence within the contemporary music landscape.
