Biography

Michael is a New York City-based multi-platinum producer, mix engineer, and pianist with an impressive portfolio.

Since 2017, Michael’s mixing and production credits have spanned a diverse range of artists, including Rita Ora, Lil Uzi Vert, Kane Brown, Nicki Minaj, Swae Lee, Playboi Carti, Khalid, Party Favor, Faouzia, GTA, and more. His expertise encompasses crafting top-line melodies and keys for instrumentals, vocal production, instrumental arrangements, as well as mixing and mastering.

Beyond his musical prowess, Michael is also deeply involved in the podcasting realm, serving as a producer and engineer for shows like the You Already Know Podcast with Kenan Thompson and Tani Marole, along with the Saturday Night Live Standby Line.

Michael’s musical journey began as a concert pianist, honing his skills at the prestigious Julliard School of Music. He later graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2019. In his first year of school, he founded his mixing and production business, collaborating with the Village Collective in Chicago and working with independent artists like Calez, Alex Wiley, Mick Jenkins, Nico Segal (formerly Donnie Trumpet of the Social Experiment), and notably, Chance the Rapper. He also collaborated with accomplished songwriters such as Mario Barrett, Diane Warren, Bailey Bryan, Faouzia, and Carmen Reece.

Currently, Michael operates from his studios in Manhattan, including Gyldmark Buchheit Studios in Brooklyn and Penthouse Studios in Times Square. His commitment to musical excellence and diverse collaborations solidify his standing in the dynamic world of music production.
