Biography
Tri-Beam is a multi-genre production team with a fondness for analog recordings, live performances and music of the 70s – 2000s. Tri-Beam’s members have amassed 20+ million streams across various projects.
Founded in the aftermath of the pandemic, the group is the brainchild of producer Sam Freeman. Frustrated by the developments of the 2010s where popular music became increasingly shaped by computers and over-sequencing, Sam recruited his friends Nick and Mike to build a new studio that catered to their tastes. The result is a team of instrumentalists and producers that retain a human feel in their work through the use of acoustic instruments, tape machines and high-end analog gear. From drums to bass, guitars to keys, and horns to strings, everything is done in-house.
